ILLEGAL REGIME BRINGS OUT THE EVIL AMONG US

Heavens Above, no pun intended, but can you believe the insensitive broadcasts going on with certain religions in Fiji. Is this a follow on from the irrelevant 5.12.06.

Now that the illegal regime has abrogated the constitution and sacked the legal judiciary all those with evil intentions are emerging from their slimy depths to impose their disgraceful will on the innocent and unsuspecting.

In this day and age, for so called religious leaders  who are quick to cry foul that they are being mistreated, misunderstood and discriminated against, some of these pundits really need to be re-educated on positive social values and responsibilities and stop flouting and exploiting  their ungodly doctrines.

What on earth does pundit Maharaj mean by his ridiculous statement as printed in todays Fiji Times:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

PRESERVING higher caste duties is being reinforced by the re-establishment of an organisation consisting purely of Brahmans, the highest-ranking Hindu social class.

The formation of the Akhil Shree Sanatan Dharam Brahman Purohit Sabha for the Northern Division is an attempt to address the usurping of priestly duties by those that don’t belong to the higher caste.

According to the organisation’s president, Pundit Ashok Maharaj, non-Brahmans are going around conducting prayers.

“Brahmans are the only ones ordained by the gods to perform these prayers,” he said.

“The prayers said by the Brahmans are received by the gods because the mantra or religious chants said by those from this caste have special powers.

“This is according to our religious books. What we have found is that persons from lower castes are making these prayers for people who are being cheated out of a special connection to the gods.

“Non-Brahmans performing prayers do not benefit the person they are praying. It’s the same as a carpenter does carpentry, mechanics deal with mechanical issues while Brahmans deal with prayers.”

Pundit Maharaj argued that that the organisation, which has 42 registered members, was not attempting to impose the caste system in Fiji.

Registered members hold special identifications that show they belong to the higher caste which must be produced on demand from members of the public needing prayers.

“Non-Brahmans conducting prayers will have to answer to the organisation,” he said. “We are calling on public support to demand to see the ID card.”

This kind of behaviour is outrageous, especially with Diwali beginning this weekend 17.10.09.

The Diwali Festival is always much anticipated by the people of Fiji regardless of what their racial or religious preference is.

Diwali is the Festival of Lights, Light, being the symbol of hope and positive energy, indicates the victory of good over evil. By spreading light in every corner of our premises, we try to destroy the reign of darkness, on the night of Diwali. People decorate their premises with diyas, electric bulbs and other decorative electric lighting fixtures, to make their surroundings filled with colorful light and to make it bright and beautiful

Those of us who don’t decorate our homes are always delighted by the beautiful lights and will walk around our neighbourhoods or drive about to experience and enjoy this wonder.

That’s Fiji & how we’ve always lived comfortably side by side regardless of race or religion, this dogmatic statement and attitude by pundit Maharaj is most unwelcome in any society, but it seems anything goes under the illegal regimes inept watch, with religious intolerance rearing its ugly head.

How dare he imply that some human beings are more acceptable than others. For someone who purports to be religious, hasn’t he learned that faith is from the heart no matter who or what, one worships.

Did the pundit get his ole kundalini knotted up too tight with his dhoti?  His irreligious, inexcusable statement is totally unacceptable not only for our Hindu brothers and sisters but to all of humanity who are continually seeking a solution for peace and goodwill toward all mankind.

I join SV in condemning the disgraceful, discriminatory utterances by Pundit Ashocker, in that they are of a higher, privileged, God’s chosen caste blah blah blah…….are we still in the 21st century or what? OK, coming closer to home, do we use the same rationale to argue the seemingly irrelevance of the GCC??

  2. Anon. Says:

Never cease too be amazed how certain sections of Fijian society will use any & every oppurtunity to attack & bring down indigenous Taukei culture.

Seijiale – the GCC is there by the grace of the Taukei – not God.

You should put some thought into the pervading reality of your own rationale – impending danger your own people – 37% & declining – 1 vote 1 value?

“I am a nationalist – Fiji for the Fijians blah blah blah” (FB).

Your thinking – doing away with the GCC – would be & is – a grave miscalculation.

  3. Soko Says:

The GCC is a selfserving organisation debased by malignant thieving hypocrites.

  4. Anon. Says:

    @ Soko.

Get used too it because as much as you try – its a reality you and your brethren will never pull down & destroy.

  5. Fiji Man Says:

Agree with you Anon!! Soko Happy Diwali kei tamamu!!

  6. senijiale Says:

Hah! ‘the pervading reality of your own rationale’.…sounds to me like you were engaging in self-talk there Anon. lol!

All I tried to point out was that the GCC operated on similar social
class structures as that of the Brahman caste in the Indian society. Or
don’t you agree that the GCC was comprised of the ‘highest ranking
    class’ for the i-taukei?

And don’t itaukei chiefs claim that their powers are hereditary…that it is
their God-given birthright to lord it over Fiji and her people? Hence,
isn’t the claim relative to that of the ‘holier than thou’ Pundit, in that
priestly powers is exclusively the domain of the Brahmin Club?

So does the GCC still really exist?? given that the Constitution is gone?
If so, then I’d say that its not by the grace of the itaukei but rather by
their misplaced loyalty.. Hence, it’s just a matter of time before the rest
of the itaukei will see the institution for what it really is – comprised of a
bunch of greedy USURPERS who love to play musical chairs at the
expense of the nation! Your politics of race, religion and naked hatred
for those not of your ilk does not belong in 21st century Fiji. Chew on
    that..

  8. Anon. Says:

    @ Senijiale.

No not politics of naked hatred – politics of 21st naked reality.

Repeat – iTaukei are not & never will be an outpost of contempory Indian colonial imperialism.

As for Chiefs within iTaukei society?

Fact that you know nothing about this subject being an outsider & are therefore ignorant about such matters doesn’t appear to hinder you.

Eitheir accept that iTaukei own both the land & recources – or you do what
the other 63% of your people have done – leave – immigrate.

  9. senijiale Says:

Haha, typical Anonsense, resorting again and again to your politics of race when confronted with the truth.

Why are you being so defensive Anon? Are you a so-called chief? Well shame on you for blogging out here anonsensly when you should be out there in a true chiefly fashion, leading your people.

And get this – I am an i-TAUKEI and am not going anywhere except in your imagination… so why don’t you piss off to where ever you came from.

You simply can’t face the FACT that the GCC was scrapped and what did the i-taukei do? N O T H I N G… now that’s reality.. Tragic.

Like the military – if you can’t accept criticism and reform yourselves,
well, one way or another it will be done for you – that’s just one of the realities of life you’ll have to accept.

  10. Anon. Says:

    @ senijiale.

    Tick…Tock…Tick…Tock…

As for you being iTaukei? Taukei Singh maybe?

    Tick…Tock…Tick…Tock..

  11. Nostradamus Says:

    SJ
Another kaidia pretending to be Fijian.
The GCC is not the chiefly system. It is not dead, nor is the constitution dead. Nothing the current regime has done is legal. That has been confirmed in the appeals court.
Leadership is done in various ways. One way is by example.
If you were a Fijian you would know that silence means anything but approval.
Back to your incense and curry munching, my boy!

  12. Nostradamus Says:

    SJ
Besides, why complain when your kind are leaving by the jumbo load every day. 37% was last years statistic. Check again to make sure it goes down by a percent or two every year! It was 52% in 1987. That is 1% drop for every year of military rule. The demise of sugar ensured by VB and lack of Indian recruitment into the Muslim backed army will ensure that it continues.

  13. Red Scorpion Says:

Hear hear Nostradamus. SeniJodo u ignorant worm. Ur incense sniffing has fried ur brain, nitpicking dimwit. According to ur logic when one is confronted with guns one should just accept it and move on. Boci! I think if u/ur relative was being hassled taken up to camp, u would be squealing loudest instead. Go whine elsewhere and wipe the dhal from ur mouth

  14. senijiale Says:

Haha! Nice try @ NoseUpYourAss – u and Anonsense sound like a
kanikani dinosaur on a slippery slope clutching at a loose straw, lol.

Well, like I said – NICE TRY.. so here’s a helpful tip, why don’t you
embarrassing phuckers just simply UNPACK for us right here, what’s
really in it for you.. with your politics of hate… really.. I’m trying very
hard to understand why is it that Fiji keeps having coup after coup after
    coup…

  15. Anon. Says:

    @ senijiala.

Your unwelcome presence in Viti for starters – go away – emmigrate –
Pakistan – Sri Lanka ideally suited for likes of you.

  16. sami Says:

You’re right Anon and I support the ideas that anyone who doesn’t like the Fijian ways of life you’re all welcome to get on the Jumbo and move on to another unsuspecting nation. If you want to live here than you better be prepared to live with Fijian leadership and Fijian ideas etc, etc,.
Senijiale(Budhau)blockhead look no one is allowed to stand inside the Fijian house, so please open the door and get the f…out, don’t let the door hit you in the azz, on your way out?

  17. LUVfiji Says:

Sa sega toka na GCC, me sa tei rauta beka ga o ‘grand chief’ Michael?

    Uuuwai saka!

  18. Talei Tabusoro Says:

GCC is alive and well. Dictators are holding the guns to the chiefs’ heads not to congregate.

  19. Soko Says:

The GCC as the Indian Brahmin bastards are all the same they make their people subservient to their cause.

    Sick lot of lowlife mongrels.

  20. Jone Says:

Given a choice ? Chiefs over Fijian military any day.

  21. SViade~ Says:

    @ Jone

    Chiefs !!! any day !

  22. sic Says:

There’s so much racism on this forum. Is this seriously what you guys are fighting for? You lot try to act all holy holy and then one small criticism and out comes the race card. It’s so sad because i can predict pretty much what you guys are gonna say…so let me say firstly, im not indian im kailoma. Secondly i was born here, i’ve lived here all my life and yes, i plan to die here…so please dont even try to tell me to fuck off. Breaking news, this is as much my country as it is yours…as much as it belongs to some indian guy who’sbeen here all his life. Finally please grow up…the politics, the obsession with and the constant paranoia of the indigenous people of this country needs to stop. I just wonder now if the moderators of this forum will have the guts to publish this.

  23. RA2 Says:

I’m kaivalagi in appearance and was born in Fiji with a Fijian mother. I grew up between Fiji and Port Macquarie. I’m no kai loma I’m a kaivalagi born in Fiji to a Fijian mother who was born there with European background. Where my father is from that’s where I came from despite the fact I was born Fijian. I can consider myself either kaivalagi or kaiviti but I would despise it if you call me kailoma. In Australia its demeaning and derogatory to call anyone halfcaste so please do not call me kailoma as I am as much kaiviti as I am kaivalagi even though I’m not in the VKB as my father is no kaiviti. I’m just a vasu. That’s how it goes and I accept that. You see I know who I am and where I come from. I feel for the Fijian indigenous. I feel also for the Indians especially those who have lived there all their lives and have no other place to call home.

  24. sami Says:

Hey Sic you’re definately sick in the head. First you said not to tell you to fuck-off? Well, here it is FUCK OFF!! If this site is too hot for you than get the fuck out as we’re all here just trying to figure out how to get rid of the huge asshole Voreqe and his group of blockheads from Delai Nabua?
    Simple as that.

  25. Truth Says:

Fijians have a new fight on their hands. Eradicating Fiji’s real and only enenmies – the Coup makers. No execption. That said; Josefa Iloilo, Bainimarama, Rk Ului and Fiji Military, Adi Ateca and Ganilau, Adi Koila and Nailatikau, Chaudhry and FLP, Mataca and Barr are the country’s most prominent enemies. Those who support it because they want a slice of the loot are also Fiji’s enemies. That’s where our focus ought to be.

As you can all see, our enemies are of all backgrounds – chiefs, priests, commoners, Indians and Fijians.

And if there weren’t any Military in the country, there wouldn’t be any coup. Someone said something about asking himself why Fiji have had and continue having coups ??

One does not need to be a rocket scientist to know the truth about our four and and half coups – different players BUT THE ONE THING that is undeniably common is the presence of the Fiji Military Forces.

Remove the Fiji Military Forces if we want to do away with the coups. Anyone who argues otherwise is an idiot and a half ! And deserves a noose. In other words, rid the military and rid those who support its existence in a less than a million population.

  26. senijiale Says:

Truth – can u please define the parameters of your ‘jihad’, to help me
make up my mind as to whether I shud sign up or not… For instance,
wot do u mean by ‘Coup makers’? Does that also include coupsters and
    beneficiaries betwn 1987 – 2000…?

I like to know what I’m getting into as I don’t do short hauls, bet on trust
    nor do I like usurpers.

Btw, I like the title of SV’s latest thread “Our hearts bleed for our
nation”. Yes, so much so that 3 years later we’re still out here blogging,
unable to get our act together…

  27. Truth Says:

Waste your time on race cards and waste your time looking back at past sinners. Is another way of “refusing to rid Fiji of coups”

Get rid of the military and end the coup culture.

    Simple.

  28. Soko Says:

The military per-se is not the problem it’s an independent or stand alone institution when not rightly governed by those of whom who swore allegiance to uphold not only the law by to protect the people then the reputation of this institution once controlled by men of valor would be forever tarnished.

  29. Truth Says:

Fiji does not need a military.

  30. Budhau Says:

I see that Anon and Nostra (The Marama and Peace Corp Dave) are here with their racist crap.
Senijiale – didn’t know you were the enemy (Senijiale Singh) – very phunny.

Hey Dave and the Mrs, don’t worry about them Indo numbers going down – you are stating the obvious – yeap, the Indo numbers would be down to about 20% by 2030.

The problem is not that there will be a lot more Fijians in parliament – there should be more Fijians, based on their numbers – the problem some of you phuckers have is that those Fijians in parliament are not going to be Ratus or those backed by the GCC and the Fijian elite.

It is the common Fijians who will vote for what is best for them – that is where the Ratus see the problem.

Hey Dave (Nostradamus) and you wife (Anon) – you buggers don’t count – haven’t you figured that out yet.

    Senijiale – you go girl.

  31. Truth Says:

Chiefs, commoners, Indians, hindus, methodists, muslims, elites or grassroots

    makes no never mind

As long as FM (fiji military) exists, Fiji will never ever see the end of its coup culture

And Fiji needs a military like the deep Pacific Ocean needing water.

  32. Anon. Says:

    @ Truth.

    Amen to that.

Pretty clear now their in it for one thing and one thing only – themselves.

  33. Anon. Says:

Budhau given you haven’t a clue where your own people are heading – think it strange you now offer the Taukei the benifit of your flawed & irrational logic?

You collectively brought this on yourselves – your inherent cultural greed and arrogance as a people – bon voyage & good riddance you arrogant Indian pieces of s..t.

  34. Budhau Says:

Anon, honey, I exactly know where “my people” are heading – remember, those Jumbo’s – and when you combine that with the declining fertility rates, your bogey man argument ain’t gonna work.
Now – you have no clue what the conflict is all about – with the bogeyman leaving on the Jumbo – the conflict is one of intra-Fijians and BTW, they will saying a lot of those “bin voyages” to their own cousin – people like you who have migrated. Those old white men are still gonna come around marrying young Fijian women as a way out for them – just like how you got out.

So whose logic is irrational – the person who goes around with the bogeyman scare or someone who see a coup culture and problem that goes beyond Frank.

BTW Anon honey, those Indos migrating – they have been doing that well before the coups – I guess the coups did speed things up a bit. As for the Fijians fighting among themselves, they have been doing that also for a very long time – a visit to the museum will convince you of that – and once the bogeyman is gone, tribalism will raise its ugly head – once again, if it has not done so yet.

I like your “Indian pieces of s..t”. remark – is this when I am supposed to make some racist anti-Fijian remark – sorry Anon, being racist, that is your problem, not mine.

  35. Anon. Says:

    @ Budhau.

Not racism – simple reality – we are not and never will be an outpost of Indian cultural imperialism.

Amazing that whenever iTaukei defends its rights its called racism?

Yet when Indians attempt domination its called democracy?

Cuckoos born in Blackbirds nests does not make them Blackbirds.

  36. senijiale Says:

Yaaawwnnnn @ Anonsense – u’re just an embarrassment to the itaukei….
well, perhaps not for too long as u’re a dying breed of a generation. Moce
    Jo

  37. senijiale Says:

Am I blocked from SV? Oh dear.. here we go again. lol.

  38. senijiale Says:

Am I blocked from SV? Oh dear.. here we go again, lol……..

  39. senijiale Says:

Yaaawwnnnn @ Anonsense – u’re just an embarrassment to the itaukei…
well, perhaps not for too long as u’re a dying breed of a generation. Moce Jo.

  40. Red Scorpion Says:

Anon ur doing great! Anon 100 points Senijodo/Butthead 0 points between th 2 of u (its the dunce cap for u schoolgirls)

Senijodo/Butthead go to the blackboard and write 100 times.. “I have seen the light and will not use fancy words I don’t understand any more” Right now go and practice ur 2 times table, ABC’s and pack ur colouring books for kindy tomorrow, acharr? School bus will be at the corner at 7:45am sharp (ask dada to help u with the wall clock) for the free bus ride.

  41. Budhau Says:

No Anon – that being a racist – that ain;t nothing to do with iTaukei – It is you who is a racist – you being a Fijian has nothing to do with it.

..and yes, Fijians are not Gods gift to humanity – all races, cultures, ethnicity, religions – they all feel to a certain extent that the are all special.
I see that you still reading that old fart, Prof Davies stuff.

  42. Vasiti Osborne Says:

Speaking of old farts Jim Anthony is one.

  43. Budhau Says:

Vasiti – I totally agree – James Anthony is a old fart – I think Jim boy will agree with you also……hell, he was an old fart when I met him when I was just a kid back in 1987 – him and Late Simi (Simione Durutalo) were on a tour raising funds for the democracy movement after the 1987 coup.

  44. sic Says:

The racism displayed by some in this thread is sickening.Grow up guys! The only person talking a bit of sense is budhau…I don’t agree with some of his views but at least he attempts to lay it out with some sembelance of logic. The rest of you…well…a million chimps typing away and all that.
