Two weeks after declaring his government’s position on general elections to a Commonwealth delegation, Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will address the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week on the same subject.
“I look forward to addressing the United Nations General Assembly on the current progress the country is making and also the timelines that we have set through the Strategic Framework for Change and Roadmap to Democracy,” Bainimarama said in a government statement.
He will attend the 64th session of the UN General Assembly in New York this week and contribute to the annual general debate from the 23-26 and 28-30 September.
As Minister for Finance, Bainimarama is also expected to attend the 2009 annual meetings of the Istanbul Boards of Governors for the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund on October 6-7 in Turkey, a government statement said today.
Thousands of world economic leaders and businessmen are expected to be in Istanbul to attend the IMF/World Bank Summit.
How funny is that statement eh? “I look forward to addressing the United Nations General Assembly on the current progress the country is making and also the timelines that we have set through the Strategic Framework for Change and Roadmap to Democracy,” Bainimarama said in a government statement. Yes oink, the very SFCRD as with the scrappy charter that his hero and puppetmaster khaiyum has penned to put forward his own dream to one day either rule Fiji or take it straight down the sewers where it’s heading now.
And the assembly look forward to another litany of lies from ethanol oink, delivered in that moronic no-school style of his, oink oink.
What about ethanol oink contributing to the annual general debates, buno suasua sala na olo olo ni polos nei oink. Soli la vua na daiper nei ceno. He’ll need that daiper when he realises al-quaida is hell bent on doing damage during the assembly. It”ll be a repeat of the ethanol sprint.
Oti vadua na debate mai na UNGA.
