The clown oink makes another cringworthy appearance at the UNGA

Two weeks after declaring his government’s position on general elections to a Commonwealth delegation, Fiji’s Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will address the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week on the same subject.

“I look forward to addressing the United Nations General Assembly on the current progress the country is making and also the timelines that we have set through the Strategic Framework for Change and Roadmap to Democracy,” Bainimarama said in a government statement.

He will attend the 64th session of the UN General Assembly in New York this week and contribute to the annual general debate from the 23-26 and 28-30 September.

As Minister for Finance, Bainimarama is also expected to attend the 2009 annual meetings of the Istanbul Boards of Governors for the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund on October 6-7 in Turkey, a government statement said today.

Thousands of world economic leaders and businessmen are expected to be in Istanbul to attend the IMF/World Bank Summit.

How funny is that statement eh? “I look forward to addressing the United Nations General Assembly on the current progress the country is making and also the timelines that we have set through the Strategic Framework for Change and Roadmap to Democracy,” Bainimarama said in a government statement. Yes oink, the very SFCRD as with the scrappy charter that his hero and puppetmaster khaiyum has penned to put forward his own dream to one day either rule Fiji or take it straight down the sewers where it’s heading now.

And the assembly look forward to another litany of lies from ethanol oink, delivered in that moronic no-school style of his, oink oink.

What about ethanol oink contributing to the annual general debates, buno suasua sala na olo olo ni polos nei oink. Soli la vua na daiper nei ceno. He’ll need that daiper when he realises al-quaida is hell bent on doing damage during the assembly. It”ll be a repeat of the ethanol sprint.

Oti vadua na debate mai na UNGA.

Yes he is quite delusional. Just saw film footage of Libya’s Presient and Zimbabwe’s President at the UN – Bainimarama is in some deplorable company at the UN. This only reinforces my view that the UN is failing in so many ways to address a range of humaitarian and socio-economic issues. Fiji’s peace keeping troops MUST be disengaged and sent home.

Don’t be surprised if he comes back claiming there was an “aura around him” when he spoke?

Can’t comprehend why senior military officers don’t take advantage of this oppurtunity and do everyone a favour? I mean its not as if they lack expertise or motivation?

  3. Anon. Says:

    Olosara update.

Regime apologist & supporter Swami Maharaja has suggested the 275 cane farmers should leave their cane and switch to sheep farming?
Claims the regime will provide “soldiers to minimise theft”.
That only leaves the questions of how they & their dependents will survive until then?
Who supplies the money to buy the sheep & from where?
Who will guard the soldiers while they guard the sheep?
Given that they (regime) knew about this problem (bridge & roads) since Jan – why didn’t they take up offer by foreign agency to fix them? Better still – why didn’t FMF fix it themselves?

  4. Truth Says:

Problem with that @Anon is Fiji’s soldiers don’t know how to build bridges, roads, or swim across rivers to rescue civilians in natural disasters All they know is how to kill Fijian civilians; how to walk around town in full combat gears ready to take down imaginary enemies; how to overthrow Fiji’s elected governments …

Quite right T for a free Fiji

From this angle; Barrack Obama gave them an earful !

    @Truth.

If it was’nt so true your first posting about FMF it would be funny…What a mess? More senior officers delay the inevital – worse things will become….

Now then I realize Obama’s speech is shown by Google and Y/Tube among others but I particularly like the New York Times angle for a particular reason.

Click on above URL then click on NYT Front Page
Look under OBAMA … at UN

The camera moved to Fiji at Obama’s deliverance on the issues of human rights violations and suppressions of “your own people back home … denying them the right to choose their government that those are your responsibilities to your people … etc. ”

When reading Obama’s speech, the pig’s speech writer thought he could ride on some of the points raised by Obama and gain points. The difference is that Obama’s speech was from the heart but the pigs was done to make points by sounding smart – unfortunately NO!
