Charter not enough to prevent coups – admission of failure?

Bloggers, now we have these highly paid expert Consultants arriving at a conclusion, we already knew from the very beginning, that the Charter was a waste of taxpayers monies and would only further widen the racial divide and escalate the coup culture. Samy should have known that illegally removing a duly elected government, then forcing through unconstitutional and illegal changes are a recipe for disaster, but no, these bastards had to be paid thousands of dollars at the expense of the poor taxpayers to finally come up with a conclusion that had already been predetermined after the coup.

SV says the only way to permanently eradicate the coup culture in Fiji is hold coup perpetrators and their supporters accountable for their illegal action and let due process of the law runs its course. What say you bloggers!!!

John Samy says that the people’s charter will not be able to break Fiji’s cycle of coups. Taken from / By: FBCL

A senior official of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji says the People’s Charter will not be able to break Fiji’s cycle of coups if the people do not deal with the deep-rooted problems behind Fiji’s coups.

John Samy was speaking at a press conference that ended a short while ago, where the NCBBF released the draft charter and the State of the Nation report to members of the media. The State of the Nation report says even a free and fair election harnessed to a newly-forged sense of identity may not be able to break the cycle of coups.

Well folks, as alluded to already, these guys knows fully well that based on our coup experience, the military is the biggest threat to Democracy in Fiji. As long as they exist, there will always be a threat to our general security. It is ironical that our security forces itself has now become the biggest source of our National insecurity.
The admission by John Sami is only part of their repositioning of strategies which will slowly and ultimately lead to their getting rid of our Fiji Militray in the long run.

@ Tuks….let us stop convincing ourselves that those Delainabuans will finally see the light one day….It just won’t happen……Believe you me, sometimes when talking to them, you will be forgiven for thinking that they are from another world……….They are too thick to realise the truth anytime soon……..Please, for taking us back twenty years, you really believe they will suddenly be thrushed forward to a 2009 and elections mentality and democracy eventually?………They are so far behind while we are in their future trying to move forward while weathering the past where they have taken us….A soldier will always be a soldier…..All handsome, macho and no brain.

  3. newsfiji Says:

The biggest threat to our democracy in Fiji and to the Fijian race is our security forces.

They stand by and support what these “vulagi’s” are doing to us. Dismantling everything our ancestors have struggled for. Putting to nought the struggles of Ratu Seru Cakobau, Ratu Sir George Cakobau and Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara.

How can you stand by and DO NOTHING and call it a “clean up campaign”??

Is it cleaning out us Fijians (i taukei) from our very own God given land?

You will all be remembered in Fiji’s history books as the generation that stood aside and did nothing whilst our future was thrown out the window.

Vinaka Vakalevu na vei volitaki. Sa vinakacake ga mo ni vodo kece ena dua na waqa ni lako yani i India.

  4. Peace Pipe Says:

It just goes to show how brainless these soldiers are to believe the brainwashing bullshit the pig fed them with for them to follow his plans. You see if they had more intellect they would not have been in a dead end army career and found some other progressive profession. Just like sheep they follow their leader around without reason or rhyme. And now even as they insulted by having Aziz lead them they still do nothing about it. Raw Fiji News has the latest take on the army situation with aziz at the helm bypassing other more senior Fijian officers – just check it out, its good.

  5. Groggymaster Says:

And John Sami considers this “revelation” as newsworthy!!!! BOCI!!

chodopu$$ has announced new plans to shortening the dole queues in Fiji.

He’s asking the people to stand closer together.

  10. ex Fiji Tourist Says:

The illegal, interim pretend prime minister held a meeting with the Cabinet today.

He also spoke to the bookcase and argued with the chest of drawers.

  11. Mark Manning Says:

Time to stand up to all those who have relatives in the Military and have nothing to do with them until their loved ones resign or withdraw their support for the regime !

  12. Save the Sheep Says:

I see something more sinister in this Charter actually. I believe that the way it is dealing with the Military is to actually increase the Militarisation of Fiji by promoting Cadet Programs in schools, compulsory national service etc all under the guise of bringing the Military closer to the people.

Ordinarily not a bad idea, but with the current leadership of the RFMF, would spell the absolute end of Fiji as a free nation.

    Forgive my paranoia….

  13. IslandBoy Says:

    Na cava ga mai caka?

  14. Peace Pipe Says:

It is very peculiar that the charter is now complete dead on time after all the commotion about definite delays due to non participation of the majority of people in the process. This to me indicates that the charter in its completed form was already there well before this process was implemented. They now try to hoodwink us in to believing that it was formulated by the various workgroup, council etc. To me it was just to edit the already completed charter farter and just proof read it for grammatical errors.

Anyway the charter is illegal besides the constitution and mean jack shit if the next decides to dump it. Waste of time and money.

  15. Mark Manning Says:

    Frank’s Fiji ?

    Look up , ” Hitler’s youth ” in google search , it’s all been done before !

  17. Save the Sheep Says:

Jone Biutiviti you are spot on.

The brain washing process at Delainabua has been an outstanding success.

The Goons really dont know reality any longer and that is really dangerous

  18. Ima Says:

So John Sammy after pocketing his “overseas consultancy money” then has the cheek to turn around and say, the toilet paper charter farter won’t eradicate the coup culture??..Now’s the time to say…I TOLD YOU SO!!!
Please, JS go back to where you came from, don’t wait around to line your pockets for the second round of consultancy of that illegal piece of paper you and your cronies are trying to shove down the people’s throats.

  19. Groggymaster Says:

    Hi There

  20. Groggymaster Says:

SV – are you moderating posts and removing those with swear words ?

  21. Islander Says:

Oh reaaaally Sammy? No kidding? It seems they are slowly waking up from their brain-fart. DUH!

  22. Jose Says:

Good job Mark Manning. Yes, it has all been done before. You want to check out though who are the masterminds, then you’ll know who are the real perpetrators of this 4th Coup. Bainimarama et al are the tools by which they achieve their goals. The rest are hangers on. They are the means to an end. While the real evils behind this stay in the background and look noble, they have the “Coalition of the Willing” doing their dirty jobs. These people- masterminds – are not in Fiji, ain’t got no connection except their quest for the power to rule the world. They have succeeded in the bigger countries everywhere with NZ and AUS as their test cases before America and the rest of the world. The top bitch is the Pope you just saw in your country a few weeks ago. Looking noble. But worships a different master using the Catholic church to push his evil agenda. See the catholics that have come out of the woodworks to contribute their bits in Fiji. Mataca and Arms to name 2 or 3 if you want to include Bainimarama. The Islamic Aziz (to name one) is no surprise package as Islam is under the wings of Catholocism who gave rise to Islam. The majority of them don’t know that. Clue- look at the very top of a Mosque, what do you see? A cross, that’s what you see. What Fiji is dealing with here is pure Evil – taking over. This fight, in the bigger picture is to eradicate protestants from the face of the earth using Human Rights and DEMOCRACY. Yes, democracy that we all seem to be crying for. That’s why our church leaders must stand up now. The people will follow. You can’t fight it any other way. We need Jesus to intervene.
