Ligairi questions needs for guards

INTERIM Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is constantly fearful of local threats, gauging from the number of bodyguards that accompanies him around, says the former head of the disbanded Counter Revolutionary Warfare Unit.Ilisoni Ligairi, in an interview with The Fiji Times at his village home in Nabalebale, Cakaudrove, said it seemed Mr Bainimarama constantly feared for his life.

“He has got so many bodyguards and I’m sure they are armed,” Mr Ligairi said.

“His accompanying entourage of bodyguards means they are not expecting any friends around.”

When contacted yesterday, Mr Bainimarama abruptly ended the phone call with a foul expletive.

(extract from Fiji Times article by Theresa Ralogaivau)

As we have said so many times, this Pig does not have the basic personal characteristics to lead anything. Neither the Military nor the Nation. His only form of reaction to a hard question is swear words and then hang up on journalists.

Vore just go to Kiuva and live in your tin shack you moron. Na boci ga na boci!

why the f$@$ too did Fiji Times have to use the words “foul expletive”…just use the words “he swore at the reporter”…wailei, can’t blame bloody ex St Giles patient.. (Frank i mean)..

    Mimi bum !

  3. Groggymaster Says:

Well – the pig is going down. A leader of the people need not fear the people. It is the reflection of the peoples regard for the Pig as leader that requires him to have boci guards. Well – not long now – the IG is going down – as well as on each other.

Ragone, Lewni is planning a take over from Chaudary as minister for money

  5. FijiGirl Says:

Apparently the foreign Ministers are staying at the Holiday Inn in Suva.

Anyone fancy joining me in a show of public protest?

The next 2 days is our big chance – we’ll get international press coverage to draw attention to the fact that the majority of the people of Fiji are AGAINST this illegal regime and want a return to democratic rule ASAP through FREE and FAIR ELECTIONS.

No Charter-farter BS, no change to the electoral boundaries or voting system, just free and fair elections under our beloved (and yes, flawed but-legally-repairable) Constitution.

    Anyone want to join me?

    God bless Fiji

  15. IslandBoy Says:

Ligairi cracks me up, at the height of the Rabuka coup who was responsible for ochestrating Rabuka’ security and counter intelligence.

Short memory this Ligairi – all connected to the Rabuka coup just does not have any credibility. Whenever I see Rabuka’s Sunday piece I wrap grabage in it.

  16. IslandBoy Says:

@FijiGirl – if I may propose a more ffective strategy – hook up with some of the foreign journalists trailing the ministers and offer to do a piece to camera on the comments of the every day Joe.

Then you give them a short concisely worded analysis of our current situation. I’m sure you will sparkle like you always do. Your quotes will be picked up by news services all over the world and will have more effect.

The protest will not be able to get a permit and you might all be arrested, these guys are jumpy right now, so be careful.

If you do decide to go to Holiday Inn you will be able to spot some not so discreet disciplined types trying to blend in by wearing ordinary clothes. Just look a little longer and harder and you will see them retreat.

If you decide to get really ballsy (don’t push it though) pretend to take a picture with your phone and see them run away cursing.

  17. ex Fiji Tourist Says:

You are spot on the money.

Get down to where all these tv people are tomorrow and give them an interview [face off camera of course].

It ill only need one or two of you to make the world news.

  18. anon Says:

“I will issue a statement on it when I am ready” was his reply when asked about Pramesh Chands depature.

Sa dua na ka na vakateratera e tiko vei rasona luveni magalevu.

  19. Wailei Says:

Hahaha.. Aren’t the military guys camping at the Old Grand Pacific Hotel… I went by the other day and peeped inside the building and saw towels and stuff hanging from the railings. I think their job is to mobilise if there are any disruptions were to happen in Suva. But How silly, this is Fiji… Everyone knows everyone’s business! You cant hide… Wahahahaha…

Ligairi (The Horse), in 1987 was promised by Rabuka that he will get a good position. Kida calaga o Tamai Daniel, ni liumuri taki koya o Rabuka. Enter 2000 coup. Did not want Rabuka to participate… he hates the guy. While in Nukulau, his CRW soldiers were swimming across at nite to make plans to stage the Mutiny…. Sa yawa…

  20. Danny G Says:

no his soldiers did not swim across for the mutiny approval.. he ordered them NOT to participate in anything anymore… the guys who emptied that camp like a tin of sardines were made up mainly of those who did not support the storming of parliament along with some who had just returned from east timor. When they saw that their ‘Old Man’ was arrested they took it as a dishonorable move by the army to arrest the old man and the rebels when they DIDN’T have guns..more than that.. Frank was bringing in men who the CRW 2ic had sacked or RTU’d (returned to unit of origin) for being falling short of CRW standards, to run the CRW. This enraged them and they acted on emotions.. which was wrong.. when you’re selected and trained with the skill of doomsday and you lose your temper.. things go awfully wrong.. I heard from a prison guard that Shane Stevens begged the Old Man’s forgiveness for what he had done once he had been incarcerated onto Nukulau. Bad planning, bad timing.. they went against everything they had been taught.and five of their colleagues who had nothing to do with it paid for it with their lives..
