The Permanent Secretary for Immigration Malakai Tadulala has been suspended by the Public Service Commission.
Tadulala is facing insubordination charges, after he allegedly failed to follow through a Commission directive in disciplining a Senior Immigration officer.The case was kept under wraps by the Public Service Commission for two weeks until now.
One National news can now confirm that the Commission has sent the Immigration’s Permanent Secretary Malakai Tadulala home for insubordination.
The Interim Immigration Minister Ratu Epeli Ganilau referred our queries to the Public Service Commission.
Tadualala remains on suspension with no pay, until further notice.
Tadulala’s fate in the civil service will be determined after the legal charges are laid.
Tadulala could not be reached for comments when this bulletion was prepared.
