From the good book

I am just a grog swiping beer boozing typical KVT who regularly misses church, curse and swear at will nor walk away from a good fight. However, if there is one thing I despise and that is people who cheat, lie and  abuse the privileges they are blessed with. Especially those in positions of power and leadership. As a discipline drummed to me in childhood, I try as much to read my bible everyday. It provides guidance and I draw strength from the messages that jumps out from its page to lead me on through the day.

I respect other peoples faith and try and keep mine to myself but today, however these words have so inspired me to the point that I though I just might share with all bloggers whether you support or oppose the coup of 2006.

Proverbs 29.

Verse 1: If you get more stubborn everytime you are corrected, one day you will be crushed and never recover

Verse 2: Show me a rightous leader and I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked ruler and I will show you a miserable people.

Verse 6. Evil people are trapped in their own sins, while honest people are happy and free.

Verse 8: People with no regard for others can throw whole cities  into turmoil. Those who are wise keep things calm.

Verse 10. Blood thirsty people hate anyone who’s honest, but rightous people will protect the rights of such a person.

Verse 12: If a ruler pays attention to false information, all his officials will be liars

Verse 20: There is more hope for a stupid fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.

Verse 23: Arrogance will bring your downfall, but if you are humble, you will be respected.

Doesn’t certain characters come to mind when we read through these verses?

Kutu take note of this and follow up.

This was passed on to me by a relative of mine. She said that a reliable source of hers told that she had sighted a documented that revealed some very damaging information on the bi-polar pig

It seems that the pig claimed all leave owed to him over his 35 year career. We can assume that he did not take any leave over that period because the ammount claimed and paid to him totalled 180,000+ dollars.

We can also assume that this is the money used to buy his daughter the home at Howell Rd.

But what we must ask is,

    * Was it legal to claim monies for leave untaken over a 35 year period.

    * Did he have that much untaken leave to total 180,000+ dollars.

    * 180,000+ dollars seems like 35 years service without taking any leave at all

    * Which means he has not taken a day of leave in his career.

The source revealed that our globe trotting cock-eyed PolCom is also in the process of doing the same thing.
Kutu,if you have contacts in the right places ,try and get a hold of these documents.

Hey Kutu – you first line about stereotyping Fijians – very funny – they would have been all over my ass if I had made a joke like that.

Hey it is OK for you to talk about your faith – I just hope people follow this stuff rather then just talk about it – I am sure you do.

My favorite “Evil people are trapped in their own sins, while honest people are happy and free.”
That definitely reminds me of them god damn Indians – they will never be free.

and then there is the one about “Arrogance will bring your downfall, but if you are humble, you will be respected.” – one for Chaudary and the Junior.

Of course we should not forget Qarase ( and Bainimarama) “Show me a rightous leader and I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked ruler and I will show you a miserable people.”

    Boy these were good.

    God is on our side.

Thanks Kutu…We do need spritual uplifting everyday and here\’s one for all from my Spiritual Friend and rellie…But what can be really disconcerting is how we interpret these Holy verses. Have u seen the one displayed in the RFMF website? A verse frm Ezekiel. Check it out if u want. It does give us some idea of why they\’re doing what they are doing. They REALLY BELIEVE THEY ARE GODSEND. And this is where the problem lies. How can we defeat a fanatic ideal like that. But read on and be blessed and also have a chuckle…

G\’morning to you & be encouraged!

    Psalm 118

24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the day that God has made for you. It doesn\’t matter where you are. It doesn\’t matter what situation or circumstance that you are faced with. God has placed you where you are for a reason and a purpose. Celebrate your salvation! The most dangerous Christian is a joyful Christian.

I truly believe that God will call each of us home when He is finished with us. If you are reading this then you still have a job to do. Take today and rejoice in it and serve your purpose with gladness. Let your light shine. Make a difference in someone else\’s life today. That is, in a good, uplifting and comforting way.

Because believers have ever cause for comfort, therefore they are commanded always to rejoice, Php 3:1 4:4. Whether their sins or sufferings come into their hearts, they must not sorrow as they that have no hope. In their saddest conditions, they have the Spirit of consolation. There is seed of joy sown within them when it is turned under the clods, and appears not above ground. But there are special times when God calls for this grain to spring up. – C.H. Spurgeon

May God bless your day with rejoicing,

    Today\’s Humor….happy reading!

One day a man passed by a farm and saw a beautiful horse.

Hoping to buy the animal, he said to the farmer: \”I think your horse looks pretty good, so I\’ll give you $500 for him.\”

\”He doesn\’t look good, and he\’s not for sale,\” the farmer said.

The man insisted, \”I think he looks good and I\’ll up the price to $1000!\”

\”He doesn\’t look so good,\” the farmer said, \”but if you want him that much, he\’s yours.\”

The next day the man came back raging mad. He went up to the farmer and screamed, \”You sold me a blind horse! You cheated me!\”

The farmer calmly replied, \”I told you he didn\’t look so good, didn\’t I?\”
