Police have begun analysing public comments by Suva Lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry against a number of senior government officials.
This search warrant was issued to Fiji Television Limited today requesting that comments made by Chaudhry in the last few days to be handed to Police.
The news items obtained by Police today included Chaudhry’s outburst against the Interim PM’s Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand and the Ministry of Information’s Deputy Secretary Major Neumi Leweni.
One National news has confirmed, the Commissioner of Police Commodore Esala Teleni has issued a directive to the Criminal Investigation Department to examine Chaudhry’s comments.
The complainant is a prominent member of the Interim government.
