Bainimarama’s statement at the MSG ‘baloney’

Baloney.

 

Bainimarama’s claim before the Melanesian Spearhead Group, that he illegally removed the Qarase Government with ‘uttermost reluctance’ simply cannot be substantiated by his own actions preceding the 2006 coup.

 

One only needs to compare his press statements after taking over executive control of the government in 2000 and in December 2006, which are significantly different.

 

In 2000, his demeanor was consistent with his ‘uttermost reluctance’ syndrome, as he was visibly tense when explaining to the nation why he took over the reigns from the late Ratu Mara.

 

However, the same cannot be said when he unlawfully removed the Qarase government in 2006.

 

His constant threats, seditious behaviour and sanctioning the Military to actively campaign against the Qarase government months before coup portrays his ‘utter contempt’ for the Qarase government and not ‘utter reluctance’ as he now claims.

 

How reluctant was he when interviewed watching the Sukuna Bowl rugby match on the eve of the coup, said ‘I maintain my demands and the deadline still stands and I will make a commitment to my stand after the rugby match.’

 

His speech from the Officers Mess at the QEB after unlawfully removing the lawful Qarase government, coupled with an officer shouting in the background ‘hang the bastards’, bringing a glee to his face totally repudiates his claim of having only done so, with ‘uttermost reluctance’.

 

Subsequent human right abuses, unlawful killings of innocent civilians, disregard for the rule of law, nepotism and corruption during his 18-month rule further refutes his meek claim of having done so with ‘uttermost reluctance.’

 

This only proves what I have stated previously, that ‘the irony of it all is that the illegal regime has become oblivious to their own lies and has now become a ‘means’ to their own ‘ends’’.

Thank you Fritzy for sharing your (very) nasty little secret

Your humble correspondent spends much time on the net, but no one he’s encountered in cyberspace has grabbed his attention quite the way Fritzy did.
 
Fritzy ? Who the hell is Fritzy, I hear you ask.
 
Well, to tell the truth, I wouldn’t know him if he stood up in my cornflakes and sang Handel’s Messiah. His only discernible characteristics are a Dutch girlfriend and a liking for tossing back Vodka and beer chasers (plinth and Laurel wreath).
 
Why ? Well, Fritzy, bless his soul, happens to be the source of new, damming evidence as to the appalling levels of criminality of the Fiji’s current regime.
 
Fritzy  has given us a truth that the world should know, a truth that brands Bainimarama’s junta for the bunch of thugs they really are. Let me explain.
 
I stumbled onto Fritzy by clicking on a link posted in a comment on that wonderful and enduring Fiji freedom blog, Discombobulated Bubu (see last comment under “Aiyass suffers memory loss in complaint to UN 9th May).
 
Fritzy, it seems, is a recent visitor to Fijian shores. On Monday 12th May he recorded some of his experiences on a website called Answer Bag. Then a link to that appeared on Bubu’s blog on 15th May, and I found it last night.
 
The following by Fritzy that I’ve cut and pasted is what caught my attention:
 
“. . . . I met jonny in an interesting bar with an Irish name that is a throbspot in Suva. Jonny seems to have a few jobs one of he’s jobs is to be a pimp. He just walked up to me and asked me straight out if I wanted a beautiful young girl. I said that I was my meeting my Dutch girlfriend in Nadi the next day and she was beautiful enough for me. Jonny was very gentlemanly about this and suggested we have a drink.

In fact we had quite a few drinks and it was after the fourth or fifth vodka and beer chaser that he told me about his other life as a criminal, but hes no ordinary crim. jonny told me he does work for the Fiji military, it’s interesting work and involves stealing like stealing stuff from foreigners like laptop computers. When I told jonny I didn’t have a laptop on this trip, he just laughed and said hes only interested in foreign diplomats and certain business people who are doing business in Fiji……….”
 
Now, is that - or is it not - information to boggle one’s mind (and I’m not referring to the truth serum qualities of multiple vodkas and beer chasers!) ?
 
One can only wonder what other services might be provided by Johhny/ Jonny to a grateful RFMF.
 
Do they include torching suburban dwellings of expatriate judges, or delivering death threats to distinguished diplomats ? Yes, the mind does boggle!

Now, logic informs your humble correspondent that a sensible next step would be to determine the Best way to use this damning incident of criminal activity to hasten the end of Fiji’s suffering.
 
For example, whey dont we all write to the papers and simply draw people’s attendtion to the evidence out there ?
 
And, whilte we are at it, can anyone come up with a parallel strategy that will finally deliver the cornered pig to his room in St Giles ?

While pigs waste is wasting everyones time and money in Vanuatu and the Maras, Ganilaus and Nailatikaus are on their merry way to Tubou, the soldiers and police that are loyal to the Legal Government should escort the  Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase & his SDL party to Parliament House and block all exits so that any coupsters who try to get out of Viti Levu are detained  - No house arrest - straight to Korovou or another building where they can be imprisoned, from chaudry prasad saheb his snivelling offspring, khaiyum and other lawyers and judges who have been backing the coupsters, shamimis - all of them, fifi of the marble eye, $2 Jo and also ensure that pigs waste and anyone who is overseas - even on another Island within the Nation is not allowed to step foot on Viti Levu - so all airports to be alerted not to allow any airplanes with coupsters in them to land anywhere in Fiji all ports to do the same.

If there are any airplanes with coupsters in them on their way to Fiji or Suva - divert them to Korea - mera lai kana kimchee.

Any ships or boats with coupsters travelling in them to be diverted to ?

Open Season on our Tax Dollars - This time its the Maras’ Turn

If you think the Mara Clan are history, think again. They are still lingering around like a bad smell and making sure they still have unhindered right of access to our hard earned tax dollars.

The whole Mara Clan are booked to leave for Lakeba in a few hours on the MV Iloilovatu where Eveli Gusuvakaika Ganilua will be chief guest at the Ratu Mara College Cadet Pass Out Parade.

The Ministry of Information TV Crew have been ordered to get on board the ship and make sure they do a good job of filming the whole charade. One of the MOF TV crew told our source that they are confused as to whether this is an official Government Trip or a Private Family Trip. While it is kind of both but, as usual, it is fully funded from our national treasury. Yes people your PAYE deduction and the VAT you pay for your aspro clear.

Oh and also Ului has ordered all Lauans from Lakeba in the Military are to go on the trip. They are going to try and stack the island and intimidate people before the Lauan Provincial Council.

Remember the Auditor General’s report of 2005 highlighting how our tax money were used by the Military to campaign for the New Alliance. Well people, that figure will be dwarfed by what these Mara sibblings and their screw are going to accumulate before Election 2009.

I’m an Adult: Rajendra Chaudhry

Suva Lawyer, Rajendra Chaudhry said he does not need to speak to his family before making public statements as he is an adult and he has his rights under the Constitution to express his opinions.

Chaudhry while commenting on Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama’s call this morning for Chaudhry to discuss the issues first with his family Chaudhry said that he is a taxpayer and quite capable of making statements before discussing it with his family.

Chaudhry is now saying it is inappropriate for Commodore Bainimarama to comment on FICAC and protect the Interim Attorney General.

After calls by Chaudhry to scrap FICAC, Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said earlier today he was concerned at Chaudhry’s criticism of FICAC.

While, speaking in Fijian, Bainimarama said it is better for Rajendra Chaudhry to discuss the issues first with his family.

This news article reminds me of a song from the 1980s. The video clip use to have this fat drag queen belting out the words “You think you’re a man but you’re only a boy…………………….”

Rajend Prasad, a gentle reminder, it was Frank’s coup that put you in the Fiji Sports Council in the first place and it was your father who used that farmers fund from Haryana India to buy you that Australian property and pay your way through law school in Sydney. Without these two, you are nothing.

The weak reaction of the Pig is unusual and asking that they discuss in the family first raises more issues and a few eyebrows here and there. So does this reaction from the Pig confirms that the systematic destruction of the nation is discussed and charted from Suva Point?

Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said he is concerned that Suva lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry has criticized the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).

Speaking in Fijian, Bainimarama said it is better for Rajendra Chaudhry to discuss the issues first with his family.

Rajendra Chaudhry has called on the authorities to scrap FICAC and to replace it with a special unit in the police force.

Chaudhry said given the inexperience and untrained investigators currently with FICAC, it is better that the institution be scrapped and a special major fraud and corruption investigation team be formed in the police force.

Chaudhry has also blamed the Interim Attorney General for the blunders made by FICAC.

Soqsoqo Vakamarama slams SDL Party

The Soqosoqo Vakamarama has today slammed the claim by the SDL party that the policies introduced by the interim administration have resulted in the steep increase in poverty.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro said the cause of negative growth is dependent on previous year’s economic activity.

This is after the SDL General Assembly put together 16 resolutions one of which said that the level of poverty in Fiji since December 6th, 2006 has increased dramatically as confirmed by the interim Finance Minister in his 2008 Budget Address and reminds the interim government that its policies so far and method of operation in fact promotes poverty by driving away investors and tourists.

S V says, its amazing how this woman has done a great about turn. This was the same old hag that applied unsuccessfully for the SDL ticket for the Tailevu South Fijian Communal Seat in the last election.

This is another opportunist taking advantage of her position as head of the Soqosoqo Vakamarama  to achieve her own selfish needs. The Soqosoqo Vakamarama’s executive should immidiately do something about sacking this woman for bringing the Organisation into disrepute. It is not a political body!
