The Vude King has been hired by the illegal government to compose and perform a theme song for the proposed charter, here’s a tip for the lyrics from blogger Charles St Julian.
They say that people in Fiji must unite,
To make the future shining bright,
They say those who are much smarter,
Will hasten to support the People’s Charter,
But who should Fiji’s citizens embrace,
When soldiers show so little grace,
Chorus – Oh Peoples Charter! Oh Peoples’ Charter!
Could You Imagine Anything Dafter!
The regime’s reactions make all so frightful,
When Commissioner Teleni hounds down the inciteful
The clean up cabinet now looks so sinister,
After revelations about the crookedness of an interim minister
And then reactions become still blunter
With Immigration Officers abducting Russell Hunter
Chorus
A course ahead t’was intended to chart,
But they could not convince Daryl Tarte
A promised utopia amidst flowering meadows,
Was not enough for Opposition Leader Mick Beddoes
And now amidst that tarnished decorum,
Time surely for the resignation of the Citizens Constitutional Forum
For who ahead wants to be a martyr,
For that dreadful People’s Charter
Chorus
Then left almost alone still in the saddle,
Frank and the Archbishop will disconsolately paddle
Following on that gleaming star
Will be coup-enthusiast Kevin Barr,
And ever zealous in pursuit of her misguided mission
Will be the Director of the Fiji Human Rights Commission
Chorus
Lest you think this composition a trifle hamy,
Please bear in mind it was for John Samy.

Good laugh SV!
SV Team your site visit stats jumped – it was only 175,000 two or three weeks ago and now almost 243,000.
Before mid Feb, you averaged about 3,000 hits per day and now you’re probably getting an extra thousand or so per day? even if 500 of that are hits from rfmf’s stupid media cell….
So take heart dear bloggers… you’re definitely doing something right with the goonies attempts at hacking the site and the increased traffic from low level irritants like Budhau and Praveen (fail nodrau tovolea meda vakamuri Jew/Jesus hater enanoa!). Lets keep putting them in their place – lead the charge JDA!!!
Lets keep the fire burning Freedom Bloggers!

Here is another BIG joke from the IG.
Like his boss, Teleni Ketepoka has assumed an additional new role – a “Dietician”.
“Teleni advises men to fast” – Tuesday, March 11, 2008
THE Commissioner of Police advised his officers to fast for at least a week to help them fight slackness within the force.
Police Commissioner Esala Teleni, who has repeatedly announced he would change the attitude of officers within the force, advised his officers to fast on the first week of every month as a way of ridding the force of slackness.
Police spokesperson Ema Mua confirmed officers had been advised to take this course of action to cut slacking down.
She said fasting was another way of encouraging officers to lift their work. Ms Mua said fasting was not a directive but an option given to officers including those of higher ranks and officers could either fast or pray to help build them personally and improve their work as officers of the law.
Ms Mua said she was not aware of how long the occasional fasting period would last but confirmed it was started two months ago.
She said change was needed in the police force to address slackness which has existed in the force for many years.
She said plans were now being implemented to address the issue and rebuild the force
There has been change and a reduction in the crime level, she said.
These initiatives are aimed to help strengthen the work of the police force, she said.
Ms Mua said fasting would encourage positive changes and streamline the force. She said some officers were taking the change very slow however there was an overwhelming support for the course of action. Ms Mua said these steps being taken would act as key performances indicators set out for officers to work towards.
Come on Ketepoka, ever thought of losing the “pounds” yourself than gaining more “dollars”? What a role model!!!!
Power to the People!

This sham of an inquiry has NOT cleared chaudhry the cheat of Tax evasion.
The narrow terms of references did not delve into the allegations against him.
The 2 Australian ‘mates’ of hairyarse stand condemned for their part in this farce.
These 2 are stupid for getting involved in an illegal junta.

When Seru Serevi was first comissioned to write the song, Ro Filipe Tuisawau wrote to the dailies saying Seru should follow the lead of his home province, Rewa and disassociate himself from the NCBBF process. The next day he was rebutted by someone writing under a false name only to have the leader of the Sauturaga from Rewa follow up with a support letter for Ro Filipe the day after.
This is going to be a crucial issue for us as Fijians, dealing with issues surrounding the administration of our country by the IG. Do we follow the provincial lead or establish and follow individual priorities. I suspect this will be an easier question for those of us earning our livelihoods in the urban areas as opposed to our kinsmen living in the villages, as we are perhaps subjected to fewer societal demands.
I would be very interested in hearing Seru Serevi’s viewpoint in addition to what he said on television i.e., like any other commercial service provider he was just providing a service as a professional musician.
A possible outcome of this song saga is if the radio stations and television refused to play the song as part of their hourly rotation play list, as a form of protest against the deportation of Russell Hunter.
This would force the NCBBF secretariat to buy advertising time at the going commercial rate. The exception would be FBCL as the mini Sayed Khaiyum would order his on-air staff to play the song ad nauseum.

That fasting direction from the police chief – that has nothing to do with diet – thats the Christian angle – Fast and Pray and things will get better.

Another revelation in the Fiji Times-the member of the Inquiry Commission in Chodo’s case (Cowley) had already been giving opinions to the interim AG Hairy Arse and the interime Govt since last year.
That’s transparency for you!

Below is an excerpt from the FT yesterday which is quite a sobering and humbling comment to come from an Indo community leader and reinforces the notion that we do have some good leaders in the background who could help the country move forward through cooperation and rational dialog. This is in contrast to the ultra virulent type we have in the snake who is destroying the country.
“THE Council of Muslim League has decided to keep out of the National Council to Build a Better Fiji.
President Hafiz Ud Dean Khan said since inception in 1972 the League had remained non-political.
“Whilst its individual members and executives have been free to participate in political activities in their personal capacity, the FML is at all times cognisant of its obligation to only promote its core activities in social, religious and educational areas for the benefit of its members.
Mr Khan said in particular they were grateful to the chiefs and the indigenous community for sharing their resources selflessly with minority groups.”

Well done to the Fiji Times!
The editorial today is spot on. This was a “Claytons” inquiry?
You know, the inquiry you have when you are not having an inquiry.
The terms of reference were so narrow and biased that everyone knew the results from the outset.
It would have to be the only ‘open and independent’ inquiry in the world that was announced after the final report was written.
The good thing now is, if chaudhry is silly to go along with suing FijiTimes, then all of the details of his tax dealings will be exposed in court.
Remember it is only defamation if it is not true.

Peace Pipe:
Believe they can sense that things are not going the way they hoped..everyone of them jumped in the military bandwagon in the beginning including the indians…took him almost two years after the coup to say what he said . well…the time is coming and as have been said before..Fiji will not be the same again…they have spoiled it..

What a laugh that would have been to CoP Teleni that this site had wrongly interpreted fasting to diet. Thank you for making that clarification.
