The Great Assasination Plot: Operation Kill the Pig foiled!

Evidence has surfaced that Ballu Khan actually hired a young Australian Boy Holidaying in Fiji with his parents to kill the Pig and his most loved piglets. The bounty was a $20 meal voucher at Macdonalds Martintar, Nadi. Above was the conjured up image Ballu had in mind in his dream.

Sunday Captain Ketepoka Kisitoni takes to the media to announce the great
plot he has foiled. NGOs, foreign governments are involved and large
numbers of locals rounded up. But no weapons or explosives found.

Days of turmoil as charges are laid without facts being revealed.

By Wednesday the pressure for facts grows as the bail hearing approaches.
The DPP has not been consulted but he insists on treason charges being
dropped. One of those legal technicalities – treason is the offence of
overthrowing legal governments.

Thursday and the DPP has yet to see the crucial affidavits. The pressure
grows to produce evidence.

Friday and the bullets appear as if by magic at a suspect’s house. Many
people are not impressed by the bullets, which are easily planted and not
much use without a gun.

Then on the week-end, lo and behold, the guns and explosives are found, in
a suspect’s house. No details (naturally).

What lessons do we draw from this? As with the whole illegal government
saga, the actors are making up the script as they go along. They clearly
did not anticipate the DPP’s request for facts before laying charges. They
attempt to bully the DPP, threatening arrest if he does not comply. How
dumb can you get? They cannot think even one move ahead.

The public are excluded from the discussions between Captain Kisitoni and
the DPP but they will not be locked out of the court. All the unanswered
questions will need to be answered. When did the Kisitoni crew search the
suspects houses? They had all been in custody for days before the weapons
were found. Why were the houses not searched earlier? How credible is it
that suspects would hide weapons in their own homes? If the weapons have
been missing since 2000, why were the houses not searched earlier?  These
are questions that our regular media should be asking. Given fearless
Frank’s commitment to ‘good governance’ and ‘accountability’ he should
welcome some tough questioning.
